Patrick Gläscher

Nacido en Buenos Aires en 1975. Estudia en la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón, se desempeña como ilustrador publicitario para luego volcarse a la docencia. Participa de seminarios, talleres y clínicas.

La obra de Patrick Gläscher recrea los paisajes y la fauna del Río de la Plata, el Delta del Paraná y la Pampa. En su trabajo, Gläscher reflexiona sobre la representación de la naturaleza y los discursos mediante los cuales formamos nuestras ideas sobre ella.

Desde 1997 expone su obra en Argentina y EEUU. Su obra integra colecciones públicas en Latina América y privadas.
Este año ha recibido una Mención del Jurado en el 107 Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales.

Patrick Gläscher was born 1975, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied at the National School of Fine Arts Prilidiano Pueyrredón. Later on he worked as an illustrator and teacher before he focused on drawing and painting. He took master courses and participates in seminars, workshops and clinics.

With pencil and graphite Patrick Gläscher recreates the landscapes and fauna of the Río de la Plata, the Paraná Delta and the Pampa. In his artworks Gläscher reflects on the representation of nature and the discourses through which we form our understandings of it.

Since 1997, he participates in national and international exhibitions. His works are part of institutional collections in Latin America and several private collections.
